My Creative Space

Miss S is invited to a Birthday Party next week.
I asked the girls Mother what she would like, and she asked for one of my doily t-shirts.
I only had one doily left from my last op-shop trip, I must be due for another one soon to re-stock!!

So I made the little girl a pink doily top, with some pink and clear/white buttons.
I really like it.
Im sure she will too.
And she needs something to wear it with ,so a little skirt was in order too.

Found this really cute "Little Indian" print at Spotlight this week.

Used some to embellish a onsie for a friends new little girl.
And a T-shirt for Miss E.

Have nearly finished the leotard I started yesterday.
It came together pretty quickly, will just get it checked by the dressmakers on Saturday to make sure its up to scratch.

Fabric Mosaic Complete

Today I had a spare hour up my sleeve and finished my fabric mosaic.

I cut the fabric out last week, sticking to the red and black theme.

All fabrics from my stash.

I got the idea from Jo at The Cart before the horse.
I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Its going to look great in my sewing room.

Just letting the Mod Podge dry. Then I think Ill go over it again with the Mod Podge to seal it.

The Rainbow Party is coming together. Invitations made, just need some colouring in of the rainbow by the girls this afternoom and we can give them out tomorrow.

I love it and am collecting my fabric to get started.

Im going to make it for my Office/craft room.

It is decorated in red and white, so Ive picked out all my red and black fabric from my stash, and am about to start cutting it up.

I already have a canvas and modpodge ready from another project.

My best mate and Master J are away tonight.

They are having a Zoo Snooze, staying overnight in the Zoo with his school class.

The girls will be in bed early and I'll be going blind cutting up small pieces of fabric.

Couldnt think of a better way to spend a night alone!!

Miss S has decided on a Rainbow Party for her Birthday in a few weeks.
So, I wizzed up 2 Rainbow Tshirts for both the girls to wear to the Party.
They chose their own fabric.

I made this dress a while ago to sell at a Market. Miss E fits into it now...so its hers!

Its a lovely jumbo Navy cord. Lined on the bodice and the fabric detail on the bottom from Spotlight. Large Navy buttons and your set.

It was an old copied, traced out pattern given to me by my friend Vanessa. No instructions, just make it up...so I did. Ive made quite a few. I've had a lot of comments on this dress in the school yard. It is nice to see something different around, not your regular Target numbers.
