The Family was packed up into the car for a 3 day trip to Stansbury on the Yorkes Peninsula.
The Boys have their Annual Father Son Fishing Holiday here each year. And last year came home with a great haul of 12 Blue swimmer crabs and some squid.
Im not sure if the Girls being on the trip caused the bad luck with the fishing, but we only caught 1 blue swimmer crab. Thats if for the whole 3 days.
Poor Master J, he will sit out there for hours in the freezing blustering wind.
The girls much prefered the playground.
Stansbury is a pretty quiet place.
NOTHING to do, suits me just fine.
Great Pub for dinner.
Few to many of these!

Smurfs at the Drive-in

This is what a family of five looks like at the drive-in!!!

We took plenty of snacks, swapped seats regularly and made 2 trips to the toilet.
A really fun night out for the family.
We were first-timers.
The seasoned Drive-in goers reverse the car in and sit in the back of the station wagon or 4 wheel drive, take sleeping bags, deck chairs, friends and wine.
Will do this next time.

Extra Long Weekend
Our long weekend away was lovely.
We spent some time on the beach.
We played games inside and watched some DVD's.
Went for lomg walks.

Active weekend
One of the little girls in Miss S's class had a Birthday Party on the weekend. Her Family invited us and 3 other Families to spend the day up on their farm in the Adelaide Hills.
Everyone had a lovely day. We went for a long walk down to the winter creek. It was beautiful.
We saw Kangaroos.
